On August 22, The Mustard Seed in Red Deer hosted their first ever Amazing Car Race starting at the Westerner Parking Lot with various pits stops in and around the city.
Individuals and families had the opportunity to register in teams to complete fun challenges and solve clues for the chance to win exciting prizes at each pit stop. The event was in an effort to raise funds for Red Deer’s most vulnerable community by helping combat homelessness and poverty. In total more than $17,000 was raised during the event.
Partners of the event include BIG 105.5 and 106.7 The Drive radio stations, Steve’s Livestock Transport, Olymel, Messinger Meats, Red Deer Sewing Centre, Mud, Sweat and Gears, Sweet Capone’s, Culligan Red Deer, and Castle Wolf Creek Building Supplies.
