Join us and thousands of Canadians on February 24 as we walk to end homelessness.

On February 24, people across Canada will be participating in the Coldest Night of the Year, a winter walk in support of ending homelessness – and you can be a part of it!

The Coldest Night of the Year is a super-fun, family-friendly walking fundraiser that raises money for organizations that serve the hungry, homeless and hurting in over 100 communities across Canada. You can register as an individual, or create a team of friends, family, coworkers or members from your church group, and walk to support the work of The Mustard Seed in your city.

Winter in Alberta can be brutal. By walking 2, 5, or 10 km in the cold, we get a small glimpse into the struggles that people who are living on the streets have to face every day.

This year, you can walk in support of The Mustard Seed in Calgary, Edmonton or Red Deer. Register and take steps to end homelessness in your community!

Volunteer with us at Coldest Night of The Year
It’s cold out there and we could use your help to warm things up! Our Coldest Night of the Year teams need volunteers to make the walk a success. Volunteer opportunities include food distribution, registration, route marshals, and even providing support vehicles and driving them.
Volunteer sign-ups will open soon.
