TakeAway your locally inspired soup kit

while supporting food insecurity in Medicine Hat!

About this event:

We have teamed up with local vendors to create a $20 harvest vegetable soup kit that will support individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty in our community. Plan to spend some time with us when you come to TakeAway your soup kit, as we will be hosting local food vendors.

Special thanks to Redcliff Bakery for providing delicious apple and pumpkin pies, and to Tim Hortons who have also provided and chosen The Mustard Seed as the charity of choice for the smile cookie event taking place September 13 – 19.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Order your Soup Kit for $20.00. This recipe is gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian. The kit includes the recipe, all the ingredients required, and admission to our farmers market with a tour of The Mustard Seed Community Centre
  2. Choose your baked treat from Redcliff Bakery and Tim Hortons
  3. Choose your TakeAway time slot for safe social distancing
  4. Come on over at your allotted time
  5. Browse and enjoy our farmers market, local vendors, and snacks!
