About The Seed
The Mustard Seed is a Christian non-profit organization that has been caring for individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty since 1984. Operating in five cities across Alberta and British Columbia, The Mustard Seed is a supportive haven where people can have their physical, mental, and spiritual needs met and grow toward greater health and independence. We have been an agent of change for more than three decades, thanks to our donors, volunteers, and support from the community.
You're invited to our 4th Annual Harvest Takeaway!
Join us for this fun, family-friendly market to explore and discover local products made by Hatters. You can look forward to exciting activities and entertainment including:
- Live music by Derek Hintz, Christie K, & Russell Scherer
- Kid’s zone (face painting & crafts)
- Magic show by Trevor Moore
- Photo booth
- Complementary concession stand
Be sure to look for our signature soup kit when you drop by, as 100% of the proceeds from your purchase will directly fuel and feed Mustard Seed guests.

We have teamed up with local vendors to create a $50 hearty vegetable soup kit with proceeds directly
supporting food insecurity in our city.
Plan to spend some time with us when you come to takeaway your soup kit, as we will be
hosting:
- 0Kids' Zone! With face painting, and colouring contests.
- Free Coffee and Tea service for those attending.
- Food Truck on site.
