Downtown Calgary Neighbour Centre

The Mustard Seed is currently providing expanded day-use and warming room services from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM to homeless clients in the downtown core. We have expanded our services to offer our neighbours in need some reprieve during the winter – these programs and services include:

• Hot breakfast and lunch
• Free coffee shop – mornings and afternoons
• Bagged lunches
• Clothing and hygiene room
• Day use lockers
• Computer lab
• Food hampers and meal prep programming
• Phones and mail service
• Outreach support and advocacy referral
• Employment coach and preemployment supports
• Spiritual care
• Street level supports and light casework management
• Housing and shelter referral and busing available

Expanding our capacity provides an opportunity for our regular visitors to continue to access urgently needed items, employment, advocacy, spiritual care, sustainable programming, and opportunity for casework and housing – during regular working hours. Visit services to learn more.
