In 2019, The Mustard Seed and Mosaic Centre joined forces to become The Mustard Seed’s second community hub in the Edmonton area. The Mosaic Centre provides a warm, safe, and welcoming environment to community participants.
We are thrilled to embark on a new journey with the Mosaic Centre as we relocate to a new location. Our new location offers ample space and opportunity to continue serving our friends and neighbours. Our new space will be outfitted with an advocacy and event space, a community program area, as well as a commercial kitchen.
Mosaic Centre’s new facility will allow us not only to continue our current programs but to expand services toward a more family-focused model. By providing supports to low-income individuals and families in Edmonton, especially the surrounding Balwin/Beldevere community, Mosaic center will serve a larger demographic than ever before.
We are truly grateful for the continued support of The Mustard Seed Mosaic Centre. We could not do the work that we do without you!
About Mosaic Centre:
The Mustard Seed Mosaic Centre has been a safe, welcoming refuge for those experiencing poverty in north Edmonton for more than 10 years.
Since opening its doors in November 2009, the Centre has provided a warm, safe, and welcoming environment as well as housing supports, workplace reintegration, life mentorship, and Indigenous programming for the city’s most vulnerable individuals.
