“Finding a job can be difficult or stressful for most people but becomes even more challenging when someone has barriers, such as a significant gap in employment, a criminal record, mental health challenges, or has unstable housing,” says Eric, Employment Manager at The Mustard Seed Edmonton (pictured above).
In order to address these barriers, our employment coaches take the time “to understand each participant’s current circumstances and then work alongside the individual to form a personalized action plan. By loving each person, building trust, and having honest conversations, we are able to help participants to address the obstacles that may be in the way.”
