On September 12, The Mustard Seed’s Christian Care Centre hosted the Backyard BBQ Thrift Sale with proceeds going towards supporting various Mustard Seed programs in Edmonton. Despite the rainy weather, the centre sold and gave out kitchen items, bedding, clothing, kids items, and served BBQ summer treats such as hot dogs, hamburgers and even soup to the community. Funds raised from the sale brought in $263.60.
