Programs

The Manchester Neighbour Centre offers a variety of programs and services that support our community members through acceptance, empowerment, and practical solutions.

Back-to-School Backpack giveaway: Backpack and school supplies giveaway for eligible families. Summer only.
BINGO and other fun games: Enjoy some coffee and good company while you play BINGO for FREE with Chaplain David, as well as win some prizes!
Breakfast Grab n’ Go: Stop by our lobby on your way to grab a coffee and a snack served FREE every Monday morning starting around 8:30am.
COBS Bread: free fresh bread donated by COBS Bread
Coffee + Paint: 5:00 – 6:30pm every Thursday in the Manchester Tower community space we invite you to come paint, play games or chat with community members (supplies provided).
English Class: a great place to improve your English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. (Weekly)
Homework Club: Pre-registered program for children in the area, age Grade 3-12. Tutoring, extra workbook exercises, quiet study space, snacks and much more! Parent is required to sign consent upon arrival. School Calendar only. (Biweekly on Tuesday evening at 4:30 - 6:30pm)
Kids/ Teens ESL Conversational Group: conversational English class for young ESL speakers aged 8+ years. It is a virtual online class only. (Weekly)
Seasonal and Regular Volunteer Activities and Events
Summer day camps: One week camp for children attending Kindergarten to Grade 6. Activities and Games are to build children’s confidence, leadership skills, and team work. Snacks are provided. Eligibility screening upon registration. July and August only.
