The Mustard Seed hosted its first Harvest Takeaway event in Medicine Hat that gave donors the opportunity to purchase a vegetable harvest soup kit put together by local Chef Carl Augustino of Shooting Star Events, South Country Co-op Medicine Hat, and other local food producers. A mini farmers market also took place that featured local vendors selling items such as sausages, knit blankets, salsa and wood crafted artwork. Guests had the opportunity to tour the current kitchen renovation and learn more about programs and services that are offered by The Mustard Seed in Medicine Hat.
