Commonwealth Stadium 24/7 Temporary Shelter
In response to a significant increase in the number of people experiencing homelessness since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as ongoing capacity pressures at permanent emergency shelters, the City of Edmonton has leased space in the Commonwealth Stadium to The Mustard Seed for use as a temporary 24/7 shelter.
