At The Mustard Seed, transformations are seen everyday as guests work to overcome addiction, find jobs, or move into permanent housing. With On a Dime Transformations, in collaboration with the Calgary Homeless Foundation, The Mustard Seed can help even more guests find transformation. This unique recovery program helps individuals overcome addiction, build meaningful careers, and sustain long-term recovery.
Bridging the Gap Between Recovery and Purpose
On a Dime Transformations was founded by Kelly Lydiard, who saw a critical gap in traditional recovery programs and decided to make a change. Many individuals’ who complete treatment can struggle to transition into a purpose-driven life. On a Dime Transformations step in to bridge that gap, offering guidance, career support, and personal development opportunities as people navigate life after treatment.
Recently, six participants that are Mustard Seed clients graduated from the program, marking a major milestone in their recovery journey. This special event gave each graduate an opportunity to share their personal experience and growth.

Throughout the eight-week Work-Life Transformation program, participants focus on developing life-changing skills, including resume building, goal setting, and personal development. The program culminates in a powerful presentation where graduates share their values, vision, and plans for the future with a panel of community leaders.
This presentation is more than just a speech—it’s an opportunity to receive valuable feedback, make meaningful connections, and open doors to future opportunities.
