Spring Cleaning with Inside Out Total Wellness

It’s that time of year again to go through your closets and do some spring cleaning. But this year, Inside Out Total Wellness took this concept of spring cleaning and decided to turn it into a way to give back.

The boutique gym found in downtown Calgary has started a spring tradition of hosting a clothing swap in their space. This swap is an opportunity for members of the club, as well as their friends and family members, to bring their used clothes and find new outfits from other donations.

After the day is done, any leftover clothes are then donated to The Mustard Seed.

“I think it encourages people to bring clothes and take part in the swap, knowing that we are giving back to the community also,” says Marie, founder and head coach of Inside Out Total Wellness.

Five large bags of clothes were brought to the swap, along with a box of shoes, where about 40 people showed up to find some new-to-them clothes. After the event, all clothes that were left were then brought to The Mustard Seed to be donated to those in need.

Thank you so much, Inside Out Total Wellness for thinking of The Mustard Seed and brining in your donations!
