The Community Impact Centre Mosaic is not a shelter, but staff can provide resources to other shelters in the Edmonton area.

Every Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., we have a staff member from our Employment Services team visit The Community Impact Centre Mosaic.

The Employment Services team works closely with clients to help them find purposeful, dignifying work and financial stability. Employment coaches help individuals with skills development, resume building, job searches, employment retention assistance, and access to work attire and protective equipment.

Our SEEDworks program partners with local business and organizations to provide individuals facing barriers to market employment with workplace experience and a liveable wage while learning transferable skills.

The Community Impact Centre Mosaic staff can work with clients to fill out applications to different housing programs in the Edmonton area.

The Mustard Seed’s Housing Support programs connects community participants with safe, affordable housing and vital community supports.

The Mustard Seed Westwood Manor is a 20-unit permanent, supportive housing initiative that serves men and women with a history of chronic homelessness through a harm reduction model. Residents can access support staff onsite 24/7 and provides encompassing services that include life skills development, medication assistance, addiction supports, crisis management, and referrals to other services.

Open Doors Manor is a 16-unit apartment building that acts as a transitional, semi-supportive housing unit for clients reintegrating back from the prison system. The building provides safe, low-cost housing clients can count on as they reintegrate and reconnect with friends and family.

The Community Impact Centre Mosaic staff can provide referrals for clients to the Wellness Centre.

Our staff of wellness advocates help community participants navigate social support systems to obtain identification, income supports, housing and other social services.

Our advocates work collaboratively with other programs and community partners, and help provide access to other resources to improve overall well-being.

Our Community Engagement programs facilitate a variety of educational opportunities surrounding issues related to poverty and homelessness to various groups including churches, community groups, and schools.
