About The Mustard Seed
The Mustard Seed is a Christian non-profit organization that has been caring for individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty since 1984. Operating in seven cities across Western Canada, The Mustard Seed is a supportive haven where people can have their physical, mental, and spiritual needs met and grow toward greater health and independence. We have been an agent of change for four decades thanks to our donors, volunteers, and support from the community.
The Mustard Seed Round-Up
On Friday, July 3, The Mustard Seed, Calgary is hosting its 16th Annual Stampede Round-Up where we kick-off the 2026 Calgary Stampede with our incredible community.
From 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., this fun-filled, family-friendly celebration will include a free BBQ, music, carnival games, a petting zoo, and the opportunity for great conversations with other friends of The Mustard Seed right outside the Downtown Community Impact Centre 102 11 Ave SE.
This event is our way of saying thank you to the amazing community that continues to support us and celebrate the longstanding tradition of the Calgary Stampede.
Because of the generosity and compassion of our donors and volunteers, The Mustard Seed has been eliminating homelessness and reducing poverty where we serve for over forty years.
This year’s celebration will feature the following exciting activations

- Sprog and Sprocket Playground

Kayla Williams
Kayla Williams is a Calgary-based singer, songwriter and entertainer with over a decade of professional performance experience. Known for her dynamic stage presence, versatile musicianship, and powerful vocals, she has performed at festivals, corporate events, private functions, weddings, and venues across Western Canada. Whether performing solo, collaborating with other musicians (like her band The Yacht Daddies), or entertaining crowds in an interactive live setting, she is known for her strong vocals and ability to connect with an audience. Williams has been nominated for Pop Artist of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards and Pop Recording of the Year at the YYC Music Awards [2024].
Craig Learmont
Craig Learmont is an award-winning entertainer with three decades, over two thousand shows, and thousands of requests under his belt. He is committed to providing high energy, exceptional entertainment experiences for audiences everywhere. His endlessly entertaining sense of humour, mashups and medleys will keep you singing, laughing, clapping and dancing. Craig is the owner/operator of 176 Keys Entertainment Inc. and has defined the 176 Keys Dueling Pianos experience and its all-request format, where audiences shape the show in real time. From 1950s classics to current chart-toppers, no two performances are ever the same. Just click on the QR code and make your request!
