The Mustard Seed’s Community Impact Centre Canora Has Moved!

The Community Impact Centre Canora is now located at 15740 Stony Plain Road. This new space was selected to better meet the growing needs of the west Edmonton community.

The Community Impact Centre Canora offers a warm, safe, and inclusive space for community members in west Edmonton. Our programs include meals, recreational activities, and art nights. We also provide access to essential services such as housing supports, hygiene and clothing items, mail service, ID clinics, and more.

Services

Edmonton Shelter

This location is not a shelter but staff on site can assist for shelter services around the city.

Edmonton Housing

The staff at the Community Impact Centre can assist clients in filling out applications needed for housing support.

On Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Jasper Place Wellness Centre comes on site to assist clients interested in housing support.

Edmonton Wellness

The Community Impact Centre staff can provide referrals for clients to the Wellness Centre.

Our staff work collaboratively with other programs and community partners help provide access to other resources to improve overall well-being.

The Mustard Seed Thrift Store

The Mustard Seed Thrift Store is open to everyone and offers customers a sustainable shopping option, along with a dignified shopping experience of a clean, modern boutique environment.

The store offers everything from home goods, to bedding, to trendy clothing, and much more. Profits from our store go towards The Mustard Seed’s Employment Program, so when you choose to shop at The Mustard Seed Thrift Store you can shop knowing your purchase has made a difference.

Edmonton Community Engagement

The Community Impact Centre partners with local organizations, churches, and schools in the West Edmonton area. Our Community Engagement programs facilitate a variety of educational opportunities surrounding issues related to poverty and homelessness to various groups including churches, community groups, and schools.

Edmonton Spiritual Care

The Community Impact Centre Canora’s programs and services are intentionally designed to support anyone that walks through our doors.

The Mustard Seed provides opportunities to meet the spiritual needs of its community; as a Christian organization, spiritual care is the cornerstone of what we do. Our programs are welcome to everyone and are voluntary to those who seek it.
