The Mustard Seed Kamloops Reopens Live-in Support Program

The Mustard Seed Kamloops has reopened a live-in support program, a 17-bed Men’s Sober Living Centre at the Outreach Centre at 181 West Victoria Street. The Centre will provide up to one year of support for men who have maintained at least one week of sobriety and includes employment coaching and a wellness coordinator to facilitate with a transition from addiction to fully independent living. The Men’s Sober Living Centre replaces the Men’s Recovery Centre.

The Mustard Seed Hosts 12th Annual Stampede BBQ To Thank Calgarians For Their Generous Support

CALGARY, AB – The Mustard Seed will be kicking off the Stampede festivities with their 12th annual Stampede BBQ on Friday, July 5, 2019. This free, family-friendly event will take place from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Centre Street between 10 and 11 Avenue SW in a fun “block party” style.

Love Thy Neighbour: The Mustard Seed and Beltline Neighbourhoods Association sign ‘Good Neighbour Agreement’

CALGARY, AB – On Monday, December 10, The Mustard Seed Calgary and the Beltline Neighbourhoods Association signed a Good Neighbour Agreement. The agreement will allow The Mustard Seed to fulfill its organizational mission in harmony with the community; this will be achieved through collaboration and transparency in addressing the challenges or opportunities presented by individuals experiencing poverty within the Beltline.
